  • Joined Gregg Marshall‘s staff at Winthrop in 2004 and followed him to Wichita State three years later
  • Was an assistant for four years under Brad Brownell at Clemson before returning home as the College of Charleston head coach in 2014
    • After winning just 9 games in his first year, Grant led the Cougars to the 2017 NIT with a 25-win third season
    • In his fourth season, Grant led the team to a share of the CAA title and a NCAA berth by way of a CAA Tournament crown
  • In March 2021, Grant was hired to be the next head coach at Boston College in the ACC
