Mark Fox fired after nine seasons at Georgia

Georgia head coach Mark Fox has been fired after nine seasons with the program. Fox leaves Athens with a 163-133 record (.551) and five postseason appearances (two NCAA).

Fox came to Georgia in 2009 after a successful five year run with Nevada, during which we took the Wolfpack to three NCAA Tournaments and won the WAC four times.

Possible replacements for Mark Fox include ETSU‘s Steve Forbes, Middle Tennessee‘s Kermit Davis, College of Charleston‘s Earl Grant and – as reported by CBS Sports’ Gary Parrish – former Indiana and Marquette coach Tom Crean.
