  • Born and raised in Montréal, Québec, where he was named Canada’s National POY in 2005 as a senior at Champlain-St. Lambert
  • Older brother of former Syracuse star and NBA player Kris Joseph, and is a second cousin to NBA player Cory Joseph
  • Started his playing career at Michigan State, playing two seasons for Tom Izzo before transferring to Vermont in 2007
  • Sat out a year then played two seasons with the Catamounts under head coach Mike Lonergan
  • Spent one season playing professional basketball for Hapoel Afula in Israel; also spent time playing with the Trinidad & Tobago national team in 2010 (the home country of both of his parents)
  • Joined Lonergan’s first staff at George Washington in 2011, spending a year each as assistant DBO and DBO while earning a master’s degree from the University; elevated to assistant coach in 2013
  • Took over as interim head coach in September 2016 after Lonergan was fired; led the Colonials to a 20-15 record and a trip to the 2017 CBI
    • Signed a five-year contract in March 2017 to become the permanent head coach at GWU
    • Became just the fourth Canadian-born head coach in Division I basketball history
    • Fired in March 2019 after three years, going 44-57 during that tenure including 9-24 in his third and final season
  • Spent one season each as an assistant at Fairleigh Dickinson (under Greg Herenda) and George Mason (under Dave Paulsen) before joining Chris Mooney‘s staff at Richmond in 2021
  • The following year, he moved on to Butler to be an assistant coach under Thad Matta
