  • Alma Mater: Sterling College (BS, 1989)
  • Played both basketball and baseball at NAIA Sterling College in Kansas
  • Started his coaching career at the high school level in his hometown of Miami, spending three years as the head coach at La Progresiva Presbyterian and nine years at Northwest Christian Academy
    • Went 250-46 at NW Christian, winning FL state titles in 1999, 2003 and 2004
  • Moved up to the college ranks in 2004, spending two years as an assistant to Houston Fancher at Appalachian State
  • Joined Anthony Grant‘s coaching staff at VCU in 2006; followed Grant to Alabama in 2009, working with the Crimson Tide for the next five seasons
  • After two seasons away from coaching, Pujol joined Allen Edwards‘ staff at Wyoming in 2016; Pujol and Edwards worked together as assistants at VCU
  • Hired in April 2018 to be the new head coach at North Alabama, leading the transition into Division I and ASUN Conference play
    • Reached the ASUN Tournament final in 2021, losing to Liberty (UNA was not yet eligible for the D-I NCAA Tournament, either way)
