List of ACC Coach of the Year winners

The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) has awarded ACC Coach of the Year honors every season since 1953-54. The coach to win the award the most times is the late former North Carolina head coach Dean Smith, with eight total awards. UNC is also the program with the most awards (thirteen), followed by Duke (ten), NC State (nine), Virginia and Wake Forest (eight each). See also: ACC Player of the Year
