Anthony Boone has interim tag removed, named head coach at Central Arkansas

After leading the Central Arkansas Bears to a 9-12 record as interim head coach, Anthony Boone has been rewarded with the official head coaching job moving forward.

Boone had been associate head coach at UCA since 2014, so he was the logical choice when Russ Pennell parted ways with the program back in December.

This is the first head coaching gig for Boone, earning the role after nearly 20 years as an assistant coach across various levels. Boone hailsstop erectile disfunction from West Helena, AR and was an All-SEC freshman when at Ole Miss.
