List of Big 12 Player of the Year winners
The Big 12 Conference has awarded Big 12 Player of the Year honors every season since 1996-97. Only two players have won the award twice: Kansas‘ Raef LaFrentz (1997-98) and Oklahoma‘s Buddy Hield (2015-16). Kansas is the program with the most winners (twelve), followed by Oklahoma State (four), Oklahoma and Iowa State (three each). See also: Big 12 Coach of the Year
