Bold means team went on to win the NCAA National Championship the same year.The Big Eight Conference was active from 1928-29 through the 1995-96 season, originally know as the Big Six, the later as the Big Seven before growing to it’s final size and name. The Big Eight Tournament started with the 1976-77 season. Missouri won the most Big Eight Tournament titles (six), followed by Kansas and Oklahoma (four each).
