Big South Player of the Year

List of Big South Player of the Year winners

The Big South Conference has awarded Big South Player of the Year honors every season since 1985-86. Coastal Carolina’s Tony Dunkin won the award four straight years (1990-93), the only player in Division I men’s college basketball to accomplish this feat. Five other players have won the award twice, the most recent being High Point’s John Brown (2014, 2016). Coastal Carolina is the program with the most winners (nine), followed by Winthrop (six) and High Point (five).
