Full list of BIAA/Border Conference men’s basketball regular season champions, including head coach, by year. Bold means team went on to win the NCAA National Championship the same year. The official name of the conference was the Border Intercollegiate Athletic Association (BIAA). Starting with five schools, the BIAA was active for 31 seasons (1931-62) and centered around programs in the Southwest US (from Arizona, New Mexico and Texas). The former members of the BIAA are spread out amongst a number of conferences at three different NCAA divisions.
NOTE: There was never a men’s basketball tournament in this conference.
