- Alma Mater: Marquette University (BA, 2001)
- Played four seasons at Marquette, first for head coach Mike Deane, then for head coach Tom Crean
- Spent two years playing professionally in the NBA Developmental League and Continental Basketball Association
- First coaching job was as Director of Basketball Operations at Marquette for two seasons under Crean
- Served as an assistant at Green Bay for five seasons under Tod Kowalczyk before taking over as head coach in 2010
- Led the Phoenix to top-3 finishes in the Horizon League in each of his last three seasons (two NIT berths and one CIT)
- Hired in 2015 to be the head coach at Bradley; after winning just 5 games in his first season, Wardle’s Braves won 19 games in year three (2017-18)
- Wardle’s teams won the Missouri Valley Tournament in 2019 and 2020 to earn automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament
- In 2022-23, Wardle led the Braves to a Missouri Valley title for the first time since 1996; he was named MVC COY that year
