  • Graduated from Downers Grove South HS (IL) and then went on to play for head coach Chris Lowery at Southern Illinois
    • Appeared in the postseason three times at SIU (two NCAAs and one NIT), including a trip to the 2007 Sweet Sixteen
    • Highly decorated, earning two MVC Defensive POY awards, All-Defensive team honors all four years, named to the All-Newcomer team as a freshman and All-MVC second team as a senior
    • Went on to play professionally in France for four seasons with the club Chalons-Reims
  • Joined Porter Moser‘s staff at Loyola Chicago in 2013 as Director of Basketball Operations
    • Promoted to assistant coach in 2015 and then three years later was named associate head coach
  • Hired in March 2019 to be the head coach at his alma mater, Southern Illinois
    • Through his first four seasons at the helm, Mullins and the Salukis are 67-55 overall
