  • Alma Mater: Belmont University (BA, 1995) / Austin Peay State University (MA, 1996)
  • After starring at Brentwood Academy (TN), Alexander played at Belmont under legendary head coach Rick Byrd
    • Inducted into the Belmont Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005
  • Started his coaching career immediately, joining Byrd’s staff at Belmont as an assistant right after graduation
    • Was on the Belmont staff for sixteen seasons, including four conference titles and four trips to the NCAA Tournament
  • Spent two seasons as the head coach at Stetson before he was hired in May 2013 to be the new head coach at Lipscomb
  • Hired in April 2019 to return to Belmont and replace his mentor, Rick Byrd, following his retirement
  • Along with his wife, Sunni, has three children
