  • Born September 20, 1966
  • Hometown: Orange, New Jersey
  • Alma Mater: North Carolina Central University (BA, 1994)
  • Played at (then-Division II) NC Central for head coaches Harry Edmonds and Michael Bernard; scored over 1,000 career points
  • After playing overseas for a two years, Hill started his coaching career at his alma mater, Orange HS (NJ) from 1991-94
  • Coached at Mount Zion Christian Academy in Durham, NC, where he was part of a 26-3 team that was led by future NBA player Tracy McGrady
  • Spent two seasons on Danny Nee‘s staff at Nebraska, helping led the Huskers to the NIT in 1999, then at D-II Shaw for three years under Joel Hopkins
  • Became the head coach at D-II Cheyney (PA) in 2003, leading the Wolves to a 55-67 record over five seasons; went 23-8 in his first year
    • Had all 19 wins and a NCAA appearance from the 2007-08 season vacated by the NCAA in 2014 due to player eligibility violations
  • Returned to Shaw in 2008, spending the next seven seasons as head coach there and compiling an overall record of 117-87
    • Went a combined 50-13 during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons, winning the CIAA and reaching the D-II NCAA Tournament both years
  • Spent some time working in basketball outside of coaching, Hill was hired in 2018 as the head coach at D-II Winston-Salem State (NC)
    • Went 89-50 over five seasons in six years (2020-21 season cancelled), reaching two NCAA Tournaments and winning two CIAA South titles
  • In June 2024, Hill was hired to be the new head coach at Maryland Eastern Shore in the D-I MEAC
