Danny Kaspar resigns as head coach at Texas State

Three months after going on leave following allegations of racist remarks from a former player, Danny Kaspar has resigned as the head coach at Texas State effective immediately.

The school released a statement Tuesday announcing that it had accepted the resignation and would not be making any further comments on the matter.

Assistant Terrence Johnson, who has been at TSU since 2015, will take over as interim head coach for the 2020-21 season.
