  • Alma Mater: University of Southern Indiana (BS, 2003)
  • Started out at D-II Missouri Southern State, where he played two years for coach Robert Corn; played in the D-II Final Four in 2000
    • Transferred back home in 2001 and finish out at (then D-II) Southern Indiana, playing for head coach Rick Herdes
  • Began his coaching career at the JUCO level with assistant stints at Frank Phillips College (TX) and Vincennes University (IN)
    • Spent two seasons (2008-10) as the head coach at Vincennes, going 44-19 overall in that span
  • Moved up to the D-I ranks in 2010, spending four seasons as an assistant at Indiana State under Greg Lansing
  • Other assistant jobs included stints at Bowling Green (under Chris Jans), Northern Kentucky (under John Brannen), Valparaiso (under Matt Lottich), Utah State (under Craig Smith) and finally at Butler (under LaVall Jordan)
    • Was part of three NCAA Tournaments and three NITs in twelve seasons as a D-I assistant coach
  • Returned to his hometown in May 2022 to be the new head coach at Evansville
