- Donald Isaac Jones, Sr.
- Born July 7, 1966
- Hometown: Point Pleasant, West Virginia
- Alma Mater: University of Pikeville (1988) / Marshall University (MA, 1992)
- Played at for Greg White at Pikeville, finishing second in the nation in the NAIA with 10.7 assist/gm as a senior in 1987-88
- First coaching job was as an assistant under White at alma mater, Pikeville, from 1988-1990
- Worked under Billy Donovan for thirteen seasons, first at Marshall (1994-96), then at Florida (1996-2007)
- Was an assistant coach on the Florida Gators’ back-to-back National Championship teams (2006 & 2007)
- Returned to Marshall in 2007 as head coach, going 55-41 in three seasons at the helm
- Hired as the head coach at UCF in 2010, where he spent six seasons as the Knights head coach
- Had all wins from the 2010-11 season vacated by the NCAA due to the use of an ineligible player
- Fired in March 2016 following three straight 18-loss seasons
- In April 2017, after a year away from coaching, Jones was hired by Gregg Marshall to be an assistant coach at Wichita State
- A year later, Jones joined Anthony Grant‘s staff as an assistant coach at Dayton
- Hired in March 2019 to be the head coach of the Stetson Hatters in the ASUN Conference
- Went 16-17 in his first season, improving from just 7 wins the year prior to his arrival; reached the CBI in 2021 and 2023
- In 2023-24, Jones and the Hatters went 22-12 and won the ASUN Tournament to reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time ever
