  • Alma Mater: University of Kentucky (BA, 2010) / Virginia Commonwealth University (MA, 2013)
  • Perry graduated from Southern HS in Durham, NC then played three seasons at Kentucky for head coaches Tubby Smith and Billy Gillispie
  • Started out his coaching career as an interim with the Stanford men’s basketball program, coached by Johnny Dawkins
  • Went to VCU in 2011, spending two years as graduate assistant and one year as video coordinator under Shaka Smart
  • Hired by Niko Medved in 2014 to be an assistant coach at Furman; worked with the Paladins for five seasons, three under Medved and two under Bob Richey, and was part of the team that won the 2017 SoCon title
  • Moved on to Wofford in 2019, becoming an assistant against Jay McAuley; Perry and McAuley previously worked together at Furman
    • Elevated to associate head coach in 2021 and in December 2022 was called on to be interim head coach when McAuley took a leave of absence
    • Perry was named interim head coach on December 30 following McAuley’s resignation; he went 12-12 the rest of the year
  • In March 2023, Perry had the interim tag removed and was officially named the head coach at Wofford
