  • Paid his own way at Elon University, serving as a student assistant from 1986-89
  • Was a student assistant, then assistant coach for five total seasons at Wake under Dave Odom
  • Throughout the 1990s, Haith worked as an assistant to Kevin Eastman, Tony Barone and Jerry Dunn
  • Assistant to Rick Barnes at Texas from 2001-2004, including a trip to the 2003 NCAA Final Four
  • Spent seven years as head coach at Miami (FL), leading the Hurricanes to three of the first six 20-win seasons in program history
  • Was the head coach at Missouri for three seasons, going 53-28** overall
    • Won numerous national awards in 2012 after his Missouri Tigers went 30-5 and won the Big 12 Tournament
      • Due to NCAA violations, all wins from the 2013-14 season and their NIT appearance were voluntarily vacated
  • Hired at Tulsa in April 2014, leading the Golden Hurricane to the NIT in year one and the NCAAs in year two
  • In July 2022, Haith joined the staff at Memphis as an assistant coach under Penny Hardaway
  • Along with his wife, Pam, has two children
