  • Alma Mater: Babson College (BA, 2008) / Villanova University (MBA, 2012)
  • Graduated from Nativity B.V.M HS (PA) and then played for coach Stephen Brennan at D-III Babson College (MA)
  • First arrived at Villanova in 2008, joining Jay Wright‘s staff as a graduate assistant
    • Worked his way up the ranks, from GA (2008-10) to video coordinator (2010-14), then director of basketball operations (2014-17), assistant coach (2017-2021) and finally associate head coach (2021-23)
    • Was part of seven Big East titles and 12 NCAA Tournaments, including five trips to the Sweet Sixteen, four Final Four appearances and two NCAA National Championships (2016 and 2018)
    • One of Wright‘s longest-tenured staffers, Halcovage also spent one year under Kyle Neptune (2022-23)
  • In March 2023, the 37-year-old Halcovage was hired to be the new head coach at Buffalo
