Greg Herenda fired after nine seasons at Fairleigh Dickinson

Greg Herenda will not return as the head coach at Fairleigh Dickinson, the school announced on Monday. Herenda went 105-164 over nine seasons at the helm, winning an NEC title in 2019 and going to the NCAA Tournament twice (2016 and 2019).

“We thank Greg for his contributions to the Knights Athletic Department over the past nine years and wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors,” AD Bradford Hurlbut said in a statement.

The two NCAA seasons were the only two winning records of Herenda’s tenure, with the Knights going 24-56 over the last three years (including 4-22 this past season).
