Horizon League Coach of the Year
List of Horizon League Coach of the Year winners
The Horizon League has awarded Horizon League Coach of the Year honors every season since 1979-80. Prior to 2001, the league was known as the MCC, short for Midwestern City Conference (1979-85) or Midwestern Collegiate Conference (1985-2001). The coach to win the award the most times is former Xavier head coach Pete Gillen with five total awards, followed by Scott Nagy with three. Butler is the program with the most awards (ten), followed by Xavier (seven), though neither program is a current member of the conference. See also: Horizon League Player of the Year
