Three years in the NBA, the Knicks star, Jalen Bruson has established himself as the NBA Clutch Player of the Year.
Responding to his great accomplishment, Bruson told TNT that “I think some people are born into it … I think I had to learn back in high school, and I’ve gotten better and better at each stage, and here we are.” Leading the New York Knicks with a fifth rank of 61% win in clutch games, Bruson has brought consistency in his clutch games in the NBA, shooting 51% in clutch time and bringing an average of 5.6 points per game.
Bruson further said, “Just finding a way to win … That’s the most important thing. You can make clutch plays but they don’t mean anything if you don’t win. The winning part is most important to me.” The award votes tallied to be Brunson getting 70 of the 100 first place votes. The runner up was the Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic with 26 first-place votes and third on the board is the Minnesota Timberwolves’ guard Anthony Edwards.
Game 3 of the NBA playoffs received Bruson’s best-of-7 series, with Brunson saying “I think they’ve gotten the better of us starting the game in Games 1 and 2, and we have had to climb back in both games … We got to start off well.
