  • Was a three-year captain at Mount St. Mary’s, playing under head coaches Jim Phelan and Milan Brown
  • First coaching job was as an assistant under Bob Johnson at D-III Emory and Henry College (VA)
  • Spent two years as the DBO at Bucknell under head coach Pat Flannery, then three seasons as an assistant to Tony Shaver at William & Mary before joining Shaka Smart‘s staff at VCU in 2011
  • Hired in March 2012 to become the head coach at his alma mater, Mount St. Mary’s
    • Led the Mountaineers to the NCAA Tournament in both 2014 and 2017
  • Left MSM and became the head coach at Siena in May 2018, going 17-16 in his lone season
  • Less than a year later, Christian was hired as the head coach at George Washington
    • Went just 29-50 in three years at the helm and was fired in March 2022
  • Has one son and was married to his wife, Allie, just three days after being hired at Siena
