  • Played four seasons for the Bonnies under head coach Jim Satalin and returned for one season as one of Satalin’s assistants
    • Also worked as an assistant to Gary Dicovitsky at Loyola (MD) and for six seasons under Digger Phelps at Notre Dame
  • Won 74 games in five seasons as head coach at Saint Francis, highlighted by a NEC title and NCAA Tournament berth in 1991
  • Spent twenty years as a head coach in the Atlantic 10, nine at St. Bonaventure and eleven at Rhode Island
    • Took the Bonnies to one NCAA and three NITs and the Rams to five NITs and one CBI
    • His four A-10 Coach of the Year awards is second only to legendary Temple head coach John Chaney
  • Was the head coach at Canisius for four seasons, going to the CIT in each of the first three, before announcing his retirement in May 2016
  • Inducted into the St. Bonaventure Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009
  • Along with his wife, Cindy, has two sons, both of whom had professional basketball careers
