- His first season at NJIT saw the Highlanders win just one game and finish with a 1-30 record
- Led the Highlanders to two straight CIT semifinals (2015 & 2016), completing a remarkable turnaround at the program
- Hired in 2016 to be the new head coach of the Columbia Lions of the Ivy League
