  • Alma Mater: Ithaca College (BS, 1992) / East Stroudsburg University (MA, 1996)
  • The Queens-native played at Archbishop Molloy HS and then at Division III Ithaca College
  • Started coaching right after graduation, working as an assistant at D-III Wilkes (PA) for three seasons total (two stints)
  • Was also an assistant under Bob Donewald at Western Michigan, Steve Clifford at D-II Adelphi and John Leonard at Manhattan
  • Joined Paul Hewitt‘s staff at Siena in 1999 and stayed on a year later with new head coach Louis Orr
    • Followed Orr to Seton Hall in 2001, working there for five seasons before getting the Saint Peter’s head coaching position
  • Has been at Saint Peter’s since 2006, winning more than 100 games and leading the Peacocks to two postseason appearances
    • Won the MAAC Tournament in 2011, taking the program to the NCAA Tournament for the third time ever (first since 1995)
    • Crowned 2017 CIT Champions after finishing second in the MAAC regular season standings
  • Left Saint Peter’s in April 2018 to take the head coaching job at MAAC competitor Marist
    • Through five seasons with the Foxes, Dunne is 58-87 overall with no postseason appearances
  • Along with his wife, Marlene, has one daughter and one son
