  • The Philly-native is the son of former collegiate coach John Griffin, who was the head coach at both Siena and Saint Joseph’s
  • Graduated from Saint Joseph’s Prep (PA) as the school’s all-time leading scorer; won a Philadelphia Catholic League championship
  • Played for four seasons at Bucknell under head coach Pat Flannery; part of the 2004-05 and 2005-06 Bison teams that scored first-round victories over higher seeds in the NCAA Tournament
    • Spent several years playing professionally overseas, with stints in Germany, Slovakia, England, and Italy
    • Also spent one year working as a video coordinator with the Indiana Pacers in the NBA (head coach at the time was Jim O’Brien
  • Began his collegiate coaching career in 2012 as the director of basketball ops for Kevin Baggett at Rider and was elevated to assistant coach in 2013
  • Returned to his alma mater in 2015, spending the next four years as an assistant coach under Nathan Davis
    • During that time, the Bison won four-straight Patriot League titles and went to two NCAA Tournaments and one NIT
  • Hired in 2019 to be an assistant at Saint Joseph’s under Billy Lange and was named associate head coach in 2020
  • Became the new head coach at Bucknell in March 2023, his first head coaching opportunity
