  • Played at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School in Boston alongside Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing before heading to UConn to play for Dom Perno
  • Started coaching in 1987 as an assistant at Boston U under head coach Mike Jarvis, who had coached him at Cambridge
  • Returned to UConn in 1993 to become an assistant coach under Hall of Famer Jim Calhoun
  • Spent ten seasons as the head coach at George Washington, winning 166 games, two Atlantic 10 regular seasons, two Atlantic 10 Tournaments and earning three trips to the NCAA Tournament
  • Rejoined Calhoun’s staff at UConn in 2012 and remained on staff as the program was handed over to Kevin Ollie
  • Hired by his former GWU assistant Steve Pikiell at Rutgers as associate head coach
  • Along with his wife, JoAnn, has two daughters
