- Hometown: Burlington, New Jersey
- Alma Mater: Saint Joseph’s University (BA, 1989)
- Played for head coach Jim Boyle at Saint Joseph’s for four seasons
- Started coaching career in 1996, spending the next fourteen seasons as an assistant, largely on the East Coast
- Worked under head coaches Lefty Driesell, Sherman Dillard, Dennis Felton, Frankie Allen, Pete Strickland and Randy Monroe before arriving at Rider in 2006
- Spent his first six years at Rider on the staff of Tommy Dempsey, first as an assistant and then as associate head coach
- Took over as head coach in 2012, leading the Broncs to the 2013 CIT and later the 2015 CBI
- Won a share of the MAAC regular season title in 2018, the program’s first in ten years, earning a spot in the NIT
- Through twelve years at the helm, Baggett is 192-183 overall with seven winning seasons
