  • Alma Mater: Lehigh University (BA, 2007)
  • The Brooklyn-native played for four seasons at Lehigh for head coach Billy Taylor; served as team captain as a senior in 2006-07
  • Originally started his career at Villanova, where he spent two years as an administrative intern and video coordinator under Jay Wright
  • Hired in 2010 to be an assistant coach under Joe Mihalich at Niagara, working with the Purple Eagles for three seasons
    • Initially followed Mihalich to Hofstra in 2013, but before the season started he returned to Villanova to be an assistant coach
  • Second stint at Villanova lasted eight years, during which time Wright‘s teams won seven Big East titles and four Big East Tournaments
  • In March 2021, Neptune was hired to become the head coach at Fordham, a return to his native New York City
    • Went 16-16 in his lone season with the Rams, a 14-win improvement over the year prior to his arrival
  • Returned to Villanova in April 2022, taking over for Wright after he announced his retirement
