  • Alma Mater: College of Wooster (BS, 1996) & Indiana State University (MS, 2000)
  • Played for head coach Steve Moore at D-III Wooster (OH) for four seasons; named MVP and team captain his final two years
  • Started his coaching career at Wooster, serving two seasons as an assistant under Moore before taking the same job at D-III DePauw in Greencastle, IN under Bill Fenlon
  • After two years at DePauw, Paris spent three years as an assistant under Gary Edwards at D-II Indiana (PA)
  • Spent five years on the staff at Akron under head coach Keith Dambrot before joining Bo Ryan‘s staff at Wisconsin in 2010
    • After six seasons as an assistant, Paris was elevated to associate head coach in 2016 by new head coach Greg Gard
  • Hired in April 2017 as the head coach of the Chattanooga Mocs men’s basketball program
    • Improved from 10 wins in year one to 20 wins in year three; in 2022, the Mocs won the SoCon title and Paris was named SoCon COY; the Mocs made their return to the NCAA Tournament following a half-court shot in the SoCon Tournament final
  • Left Chattanooga in March 2022 to become the new head coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks
    • Won 25 games in his second year, 2023-24, and was named SEC COY; led the program to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2017
