- Born April 16, 1979
- Hometown: Albion, Michigan
- Alma Mater: Butler University (BA, 2001)
- Played for four years at Butler for head coaches Barry Collier and Thad Matta
- First coaching positions were within the Butler program under head coach Todd Lickliter
- Followed Lickliter to Iowa in 2007 where he continued to work as an assistant for three seasons
- Served as an assistant coach to John Beilein at Michigan for six seasons; part of the 2013 NCAA Runner-up team
- Hired in 2016 to be the head coach at Milwaukee; went 11-24 in his lone season with the Panthers
- Returned to his alma mater, Butler, in June 2017 to be the Bulldogs’ new head coach
- Led Butler to a 20-win season and NCAA Tournament berth in his first year on the job
- Was unable to return to the NCAAs in the next four years and was fired in April 2022; went 83-74 overall
- Returned to coaching in 2024, joining Chris Holtmann‘s staff at DePaul as an assistant coach and general manager
