Additional Facts

This is the third time that NRG Stadium will host the NCAA Final Four – previously doing so in 2011 and 2016 – and the fourth time for the city of Houston (held at the Astrodome in 1971). In addition to hosting the Final Four, Houston has hosted the first and second round four times and the regional finals six times (including 2008, 2010 and 2015 at NRG Stadium).

Television rights for the 2023 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament are held by CBS Sports and Turner Sports, as games will be broadcast on CBS, TBS, TNT and truTV. Radio rights are held exclusively by Westwood One.
