    • Inducted into the Georgia Tech HOF (1991), Georgia Sports HOF (2005) and his number #25 was retired by Georgia Tech
  • Spent twelve years as an NBA point guard after being drafted 25th overall by the Dallas Mavericks in 1986
    • Spent time with the Cavaliers, Bullets, Warriors and Magic
    • Played for head coaches Lenny Wilkens, Mike Fratello, Jim Lynam, Rick Adelman and Chuck Daly
    • Scored 10,989 points, dished 4,863 assists and grabbed 1,848 rebounds
