- Spent twelve years as an NBA point guard after being drafted 25th overall by the Dallas Mavericks in 1986
- Spent time with the Cavaliers, Bullets, Warriors and Magic
- Played for head coaches Lenny Wilkens, Mike Fratello, Jim Lynam, Rick Adelman and Chuck Daly
