- Was a standout player at Philadelphia’s Archbishop Carrol High School under his father, Tom
- Played four seasons at Notre Dame, first for John MacLeod, then one year each for Matt Doherty and Mike Brey
- First coaching job was as an assistant for one season at Wagner for head coach Dereck Whittenburg
- Returned to his alma mater in 2003 as Director of Basketball Operations under his former coach, Mike Brey
- Elevated to assistant coach in 2009, a position he would hold for seven seasons
- Hired in May 2016 to be the new head men’s basketball coach at Delaware
- In 2022, the Blue Hens won the CAA Tournament and earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament
- Through his first seven seasons, Ingelsby’s teams are 112-103 overall
- Along with his wife, Colleen, has two sons and one daughter
