  • Has two degrees from UF, where he served as a men’s basketball student manager under head coach Billy Donovan
  • Spent two seasons on Donovan’s staff as the Director of Basketball Ops before being hired as an assistant at Florida Atlantic under Mike Jarvis
  • Returned to Gainesville in 2011 as a full-time assistant for Donovan, a position he kept for four seasons
  • Hired in April 2015 as the new head coach at Chattanooga, his first job outside the state of Florida
  • In March 2017, McCall was hired as the head coach at UMass
  • Spent the next couple years out of coaching, working as a college basketball analyst for NBC, Sirius and the Field of 68
  • Joined Chris Mack‘s staff at College of Charleston in April 2024 as an assistant coach
