Yankees’ Clarke Schmidt ruled out for season after Tommy John diagnosis

That moment when something you are passionate about goes against you. Max Muncy is facing exactly that. Health-wise, it is not looking good for him, and the worst part? Trade rumours are spreading. In every sports setting or not, getting hurt is normal. Unfortunately, it is just not nice when it happens. But this one is making headlines because of his getting hurt; there are series about him being replaced and his team seeking another player. I cannot say better than him, because Max Muncy is really a good baseball player. The Dodgers are taking a step in making a decision.

Max Muncy is facing an unpleasant season

If you have not heard about it, then now you know or have an idea, but the Dodgers might be planning on making a move to replace Max Muncy. Well, it is just the normal trade activities, not that something bad happened. The only triggering part is the timing of it all. Fans who did not take the time to fully understand are surprised and perhaps disappointed.

What does the team do when a player gets injured? They sideline them, get a temporary replacement, and monitor their health and recovery. But right now, it looks like the team is looking for a permanent replacement. But is it because Max Muncy is hurt, or maybe everything just happened all at once? The answer to those questions can only be given by the team itself.

Fans are worried about Max not showing up

Max Muncy recently expressed his thoughts,

“Not being able to go out there and help my team… That’s what hurts the most.”

You know that minor headache you get and just ignore it, telling yourself, “I’ll drink water or take some pain killers and it will go away”? It was the same, except he did not really say those words, but the pain was not a big deal until now; it got worse, and he has to sit and get medical attention. Now, he is absent from the Dodgers, and supporters are concerned and questioning a lot. Injury plus trades.

While we respect the concern from both the team and fans. Injuries are part of the game. In fact, for some, it has made them stronger, and for some, it has pulled them closer to a healthier lifestyle. The only reason why trades can be this dramatic is that there is a lot of emotion involved. You know, players adjust to a technique within that team, and the next thing they move away.

The Dodgers are considering third-base trade options

The same injury has caused some kind of commotion. The Dodgers want to and are ready to make a replacement. Is it because Max Muncy is injured, or was it already part of their plan, or…did it just happen to be a coincidence? The chosen one? It is Baseball player Nolan Arenado, the St. Louis Cardinals’ $70 million All-Star. Remember when Max hit a two-run home run and broke a record by reaching no. 200?

However, there are other options the team is looking at, that is, Reds’ Jeimer Candelario, Enrique Hernández, or Miguel Rojas. The team wants to ensure that it is made stronger as they enter the new season in the following year. Therefore, it might look like because of Max Muncy’s injury, they want to get rid of him, but the Dodgers have a plan and want to build a strong team. Therefore, whoever they take, be it the Cardinals’ Nolan Arenado or anyone else, the choice is still good. We have examples of Ray’s reportedly being ‘in talks’ for a $1.7 bn sale to a Jacksonville group.
