- Started coaching during his undergrad years, spending one season as a student assistant at NAIA Georgetown College (KY)
- Spent one season interning in the Charlotte Bobcats video department and then another year as an intern at the NCAA
- Was the video coordinator for three seasons at Florida State under Leonard Hamilton; he had a chance to work with a number of future NBA players and also helped run Hamilton’s basketball camps in Tallahassee
- Became an assistant coach at Florida Gulf Coast in 2011 under head coach Andy Enfield
- Stayed on the FGCU staff for seven seasons, the last four under Joe Dooley
- Elevated to head coach of the program in April 2018 following Dooley’s departure for ECU
- Went 56-60 in four seasons at the helm; fired in March 2022 after going 21-11, the best record of his tenure
- In May 2022, he was announced as Director of Scouting and Analytics on Dennis Gates‘ staff at Missouri
- Returned to Florida in 2023, becoming the associate head coach at Jacksonville under Jordan Mincy
