- Alma Mater: University of North Georgia (BS, 2002) / Bethune-Cookman University (MS, 2014)
- Was a two-year starter at Kemper Military College (MO) before finishing his career at Division II North Georgia
- Started his coaching career as an assistant under Allen Sharpe at Truett McConnell (GA)
- Hired in 2005 to join Tony Ingle‘s staff at Kennesaw State; the program had just moved up to D-I from D-II
- Moved on to Bethune-Cookman in 2011, where he coached for four seasons under Gravelle Craig
- Became a head coach in 2015 when he was hired to take over at Alcorn State in Lorman, MS
- Went 18-14 (13-5) in 2016-17, earning SWAC COY honors for the season
- After five seasons and a 69-86 overall record, Alcorn State decided not to renew Robinson’s contract
- In September 2020, Robinson was hired by Anthony Stewart to join the Tennessee-Martin staff as an assistant coach
- In November, he was named interim head coach for the Skyhawks’ 2020-21 season following Stewart’s sudden passing
- Along with his wife, Leah, has one daughter and one son
