The project would see a network of tunnels that feature Tesla’s transportation system around the city. The pressurized tunnels would offer citizens the option of leaving their car behind and making use of an innovative transportation project that could well be the future of the industry. The tunnel system could potentially be 10 miles long and transport a large number of people with relative ease.
The initial pilot project will have 11 stations and transport around 20,000 passengers an hour, with plans to increase that number to 100,000 passengers per hour in the future.
