  • Alma Mater: Randolph-Macon College (BA, 1997)
  • After playing at D-III Randolph-Macon (VA), Davis started his coaching career as an assistant at D-III Emory & Henry (VA)
  • Spent five seasons as an assistant under Don DeVoe at Navy, then five with Pat Flannery at Bucknell and one with Emmett Davis at Colgate
  • Got his first head coaching opportunity in 2009, taking over at his alma mater Randolph-Macon
    • Went 141-39 in six seasons, going to the NCAA D-III Tournament each season and reaching the Final Four in 2010
  • Returned to Bucknell in 2015 as head coach, leading the Bison to the NIT in year one and NCAA Tournament in years two and three
    • Won or shared the Patriot League regular season title four seasons in a row (2016-19)
    • The next four years were less successful, as the Bison finished below .500 each year and were just 40-70 overall
    • In March 2023, Davis was fired following a last place finish that season
  • Along with his wife, Miki, has three sons and one daughter
