- Graduated from Pope John XXIII HS (MA), then played at D-III Salem State (MA) for head coachesJoe Lavacchia, Arthur Fiste and Tom Thibodeau
- Joined the coaching staff at his alma mater in 1985, spending the season as an assistant under new head coach Dana Skinner
- Had stints as an assistant at Stoneham HS (MA), D-III Suffolk (under James E. Nelson) and Boston University (under Mike Jarvis)
- Hired in 1990 by Jim O’Brien to be an assistant at Boston College; would work with O’Brien for the next 13 years (seven at BC plus six at Ohio State)
- Part of a number of NCAA Tournaments, including the Buckeyes’ trip to the 1999 Final Four that was later vacated by the NCAA
- Hired in 2003 to be the head coach at Wright State, leading the Raiders for the next three years
- Won Horizon League COY in 2004, but resigned in 2006 after going 13-15 the previous season (42-44 overall)
- Later spent one season as an assistant under Hall of Fame head coach Rick Majerus at Saint Louis
- Since ending his coaching career, Biancardi has worked for ESPN as a television analyst, scout and national recruiting director
