    • Won 8 total conference championships (4x Lone Star and 4x Gulf Coast) and reached the NAIA National Tournament twice
    • Also coached baseball at Texas State from 1925-29, going 23-16 overall
    • Retired in 1959 as the winningest coach in North Texas program history
  • Inducted into the North Texas Athletics HOF (c/o 1983) and the Texas State Hall of Honor (c/o 1977)
