- Alma Mater: Alice Lloyd College (BA, 2009) / University of Kentucky (MS, 2011)
- Played college basketball at NAIA Alice Lloyd College (KY) before joining John Calipari‘s staff as a graduate assistant at Kentucky in 2009
- After earning his graduate degree in 2011, Spradlin became assistant director of basketball operations at UK
- Joined former Kentucky player Sean Woods‘ staff at Morehead State in 2014
- Took over as interim head coach in December 2016 when a player assault scandal forced Woods to resign his position
- Guided the Eagles to a 12-9 (10-6 OVC) record through the rest of the season and was given the job permanently
- Went 17-3 (OVC) to finish 2nd in 2020-21 and was named Ohio Valley COY; Eagles earned an NCAA bid by winning the OVC Tournament
- Signed a new contract in March 2022 that extended his deal through the 2025-26 season
- In 2023, Spradlin led the Eagles to their first Ohio Valley title since 2003 and he was again named OVC COY
- Hired in March 2024 to become the new head coach at James Madison
