To add to that misery, he was sacked five times in five drives as the Browns made their way up the football field. With just two minutes left on the clock, Kevin Stefanski had a choice to make: bring in Sanders to push for the win, or relieve him of the duty and entrust the responsibility to one of the Browns’ other quarterbacks. He chose the latter. The NFL is facing a new era this season as change is on the cards.

With the news of the Olympic debut of the sport, all eyes are on the NFL at the moment. Shedeur took to social media after the game to share his thoughts and appreciation for the fans. The decision was to prove the right for the coach as the Browns would go on to score a field goal to win the game. The Browns have a lot to prove to the NFL and their fans as they took a chance on Shedeur Sanders and need to ensure that selecting the 23-year-old was not a mistake. Time will tell as the season fast approaches.
