List of Southwest Coach of the Year winners

The Southwest Conference (SWC) awarded Southwest Coach of the Year honors most seasons between 1957-58 and 1995-96, though the records below are incomplete. The coach to win the award the most times (five) was Gerald Myers, followed by Eddie Sutton (four), Bill Menefee, Jim Killingsworth and Nolan Richardson (three each). Texas Tech is the program with the most  known awards (nine), followed by Arkansas and TCU (seven each). See also: Southwest Player of the Year
