SWAC Player of the Year
List of SWAC Player of the Year winners
The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) has awarded SWAC Player of the Year honors every season since 1973-74 (except for 1981). Eight players have won the award twice each, the most recent being Southern‘s Adarrial Smylie (1999-2000). Texas Southern is the program with the most winners (eleven), followed by Jackson State (nine) and Alabama State (seven). See also: SWAC Coach of the Year
