NCAAB: Three Upcoming Games to Mark on Your Calendar

The college basketball (NCAAB) season is well underway, and we’ve already been privy to some incredible scenes and dramatic results. Whether your team is winning or losing, it’s impossible not to get caught up in the thrills and excitement that only basketball can bring.

We’re fast approaching the busiest point in the college basketball season, appropriately referred to as ‘March Madness’. With so many games happening at once, it can be difficult to know which ties are the must-sees. We’re here to help and have put together a list of three upcoming NCAAB games to mark on your calendar. Check them out below.

Houston Cougars v. Wichita State Shockers

The Houston Cougars are currently strong favorites to win the National Championship, and with the Final Four set to be held in Houston, many Texans are eagerly awaiting watching the Cougars lift the title.

However, there is some way to go yet, and the Cougars must navigate a number of games if they truly want to go all the way. The Cougars will face the Wichita State Shockers on Friday, March 3rd, in a game that could see the Cougars take that next step towards glory. Could the Shockers cause an upset? It seems unlikely, the Cougars have an elite offense and defense, with game-changing players such as Marcus Sasser and Jarace Walker at their disposal.

Wisconsin Badgers v. Purdue Boilermakers

The next tie to mark on your calendar comes straight after the Cougars v. Shockers game on March 3rd, when the Wisconsin Badgers will take on the Purdue Boilermakers. This has all the hallmarks of a classic college sports game and, much like college football betting lines, will no doubt attract a lot of attention from gamblers.

After a strong start to the season, the Boilermakers have fallen away in recent weeks. While they still might make it to the Final Four, frailties in the side have been exposed by the more elite teams. While Zach Edey is still backed as the favorite to receive the coveted Wooden Award, mistakes from the young and inexperienced Boilermakers’ backline have seen them struggle.

Could the Badgers pile on the pressure and make the Boilermakers’ route to the Final Four even more difficult? You’ll just have to tune in on Friday and find out.

Kansas Jayhawks v. Texas Tech Red Raiders

Hot on the heels of the Cougars are the Kansas Jayhawks, who many experts are predicting have what it takes to go all the way. Their next game will be against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, who are currently second-bottom of the table. This could present a fantastic opportunity for the Jayhawks to fortify their position and forge a clear path towards the Final Four. They certainly have the firepower to do so, they are led by mercurial head coach Bill Self and key players such as Jalen Wilson, Dajuan Harris Junior, and freshman ace Gradey Dick.

Conclusion

Don’t feel frozen with indecision when trying to pick the best games to watch during March Madness. Mark the above games in your calendar, sit back and enjoy the show.
