  • Started his coaching career as an assistant coach at Robert F. Munroe School in Quincy, FL
    • Elevated to head coach there for the 2001-02 season
  • Moved up to the college ranks in 2002 as an assistant at Pensacola JC before joining Rick Scruggs’ staff at Gardner-Webb
    • Coached future NBA champion Joel Anthony while at Pensacola JC
  • After three years, Craft spent the 2007-08 seasons as DBO at Auburn under head coach Jeff Lebo
    • Spent the next two seasons a full-time assistant at Auburn
    • Followed Lebo to East Carolina in 2010, working as one of his assistants there for three seasons
  • Hired in July 2013 to return to Gardner-Webb as the Bulldogs’ new head coach; went 188-166 over eleven seasons at the helm
    • Led the team to a CBI appearance in his second season (2015)
    • Won the 2019 Big South Tournament as the 4-seed to earn the program’s first ever NCAA Tournament berth
  • Left in March 2024 to become the new head coach at Western Carolina in the SoCon
